Behind The Lens

Hi, I'm David.

I've photographed chaotic sessions with toddlers, seniors unsure of what to do with their hands, and parents convinced everything was falling apart — right up until they saw their gallery. It turns out, the very things they worried about were exactly what made the images feel real.

Raising four kids with my wife Lauren, I know firsthand how fast these seasons shift. The fingerprints on the windows and shoes by the door disappear before we realize they mattered.

I don't chase perfect, rigid poses. I build a space where you can let your guard down and enjoy the hour. If you leave your session smiling because it felt genuinely easy, then we've done it right. The photographs are simply the beautiful evidence left behind.
